Will I buy a car for my wife? Obviously you cannot trust a car sales person. I served in the Air Force for 21 years and one thing was briefed at the beginning our transition into the civilian sector was to avoid jobs similar to a car salesmen. When asked why, the answer was quite simple. The military whether you realize it fully, has instilled integrity as a center point of your person. Meaning, it would be very hard to be successful in that type of work. Essentially the lies to needed to make consistent sales would be overruled by your guilt. Furthermore, I personally knew someone who left the Air Force and got a job selling cars, and quit within a month. His words were “I just had too much guilt to continue to rip-off these poor saps”. Enough is enough with the way cars are sold today. It is time to re-think how you want to sell vehicles or become non-existent. I prefer the latter as it is well deserved. So keep producing you’re over priced, gas guzzling, recalled vehicles at your 30 dollar an hour wages and millions of the union monies along with your CEO’s flying in their corporate jets, then only to hand them over to your brother, the rip-off artist to try and sell them. Either way I do not give a bleep because I will not even step on a car lot or plan to in a very, very long time. Honesty to some may only be words but the lack of it is exactly why the economy is the way it is.

Hi Cody, I agree with you & am in the same situation as Tess. I'm a 63 year old grandfather with my own business & I have 2 grandsons & they won't know the USA as I did in the 1950's, 1960's & 1970's. I heard Steve Forbes this morning say that president Obama should tell Pelosi that he is president not her. Fat chance since he's the most liberal senator that we had. Pray for our leaders to remember why this country was founded. Our leaders have lost their way. Cody, keep up your good work.

You hit the target Cody, Bill Gross is trying to cover his mistakes just like the morons in Washington. Let the bad business models fall, crash, evaporate, and let capitalism take over, the true market will heal itself much faster.

All these things are happening and we have no control. I have 2 very young grand daughters, their USA is and will be entirley different from the one I grew up in. That is the truly sad part of all of this. This once great country has been taken over by greedy people in high positions, leaving us "regular" people holding the bag. My two little girls will be paying for all of this corruption long after I'm gone. It is a sad sad legacy to leave our children and grandchildren. And I say again, we have no control over anything, and that is scary.

In just three short, tumultuous months. Our country has had financial RPG's fired at it from all sides. It is truly mind boggling. And it is now apparent that most of the attack was "friendly fire". Yup, our own exalted defenders. Our protectors of finance. The guardians of our collective wealth. And now, here we stand. Shot to pieces and shell shocked. Being told that if we don't take another hit, we will surely be "going from a crisis to a catastrophe." And here we stand (barely). The faithful taxpayer, bleeding, dizzy from (financial) blood loss. Not knowing where the next attack is coming from. Wiil it be from our enemy? Or our own troops?...Nobody can be trusted. But our ability to fight any aggressor has been silenced and quashed by a lap dog, propaganda spewing, liberal press. Any and all challenges will be met with wholesale apathy from our coddled press. Now, we are forced to watch an inept Congress debate whether to take more blood from us or just shoot us and put us all out of our imminent misery... All I can say is "Well punk. Was it five shots or six? I lost count myself." (sorry for the waxing peotic or polemic. i just see it as such.)

You're right --if this socialist /communist bill passes , the ship will sink . The ken Lewis's and Bill Grosse's of the world will go up to the top deck and pop champaign corks , play good music , and eat French cheese ---but they will go down with the ship --and justifiably so . You and me need to get a life boat and get the hell off , real quick! We might be "road kill" either way!!!

Have you noticed how vehemently the Obama administration is denying that they are nationalizing the financial system and other industries? Remember the "N" word? It seems the new "N" word is Nationalization.
