    Stop The Stimulus: Don't Let The Republican/Democrat Regime Confiscate A Trillion Dollars for Their Cronies!

    Last week it looked like the Socialist Republican/Democrat Regime in power were all ready to sign the outsized welfare checks for their cronies and best friends and big corporate donors. You know in the name of "spending" to "stimulate the economy".

    The Republicans tried for about six minutes there to pretend that they were actually "for capitalism" as they fought against the original stimulus bill that the Democrats put forth last week with much fanfare and blustery.

    Of course, they were just playing their old game....it wasn't that the Republicans are against all this confiscation of wealth from those who have been paying their bills and responsible and are ready for this downturn and giving that wealth to the most politically-connected cronies. No, they just didn't like that it was mostly Democrat cronies that were going to get all the redistributed wealth the government wants to spend.

    But guys, a funny thing has happened as the TARP and Bailouts and Stimulus and big government control gets ever uglier and uglier...

    AMERICANS are standing up against the powers. A vast majority of us, the vast majority of emailers, viewers, friends, family, and everyone I talk to and in every poll I see shows that the citizenry is adamant about not letting the government casually throw around trillions for their cronies anymore.

    Let's not give up. This fight ain't over.

    Write your reps. Call your Senator's office. Get active online. We've got all the information you need right here at our Stop the Stimulus! group on SpokeUp.com. We have to stop calling this a Stimulus, the only people this stimulates is the people want the citizens of this country to be dependent on the Government. This isn’t a Stimulus its just an expansion of the federal budget. I agree with Cody that there is no one looking out for us, just a bunch of partisan hacks rearranging the deck chairs on the titanic. Cody this terrible mess will pass with no real changes as the anti-capitalism sentiment has grown to European levels in this country. You may want to start taking French lessons since we are just becoming France.

We got $2400 when Bush took office and another $2400 earlier this year..........since Obama took office my pay has been cut in half and I am applying for food stamps... I also owe $258 on my taxes cause I had to take money out of my 401k to pay my bills........Don't give me stimulus in the form of tax credits....Give me a check.....That would be fair for me
