    Happy Hour 1.28.08

We have the following guests on tap for Happy Hour tonight:

-Brian Reynolds, CFA MS Howell and Co.

-David Malpass, Guiliani Economic Adviser and Chief Global Economist Bear Stearns

    -Krista Ayne, Model/Actress

    -Brandon Steiner, Steiner Sports CEO

-Steve Grasso, Stuart Frankel Managing Director

-Dan North, Euler Hermes ACI Chief Economist

-Ann Sullivan, Women Impacting Public Policy

Happy Hour is also honored to have Cody's mom, Donna, via telephone from Ruidoso.

For Today's Jams Cody has chosen The Chambers Brothers. Here's his take:

I about fell off my couch the first time I heard The Chambers Brothers gospel-esque harmonies over the cowbell thump and 60s rock guitar riffing of Time Has Come Today. The 11 minute version of course (the shorter single version feels like vanilla ice cream after a banana split, if you know what I mean).

    1. I Can't Stand It (one of the top 5 most played songs on my iTunes)

    2. All Strung Out Over You

    3. Time Has Come Today

    4. New Generation

    5. Are You Ready?

    6. Funky (Play the opening of this one, a famous rap song demo'd it...the rap song's about losing something in Mexico...first one to email me with the right answer AFTER I ask this on air during the show tonight gets a free T shirt from the greatest burger joint in the world, The Owl Bar & Grill in San Antonio, NM.)

(PS. A bonus Ruidoso Warrior baseball cap for the first person to email me what multi-billion dollar empire was originally founded in San Antonio, NM, where there are still fewer than 100 residents and a cow-per-square-mile ratio blows away the person-per-square-mile ratio.)

PPS. Their manager sent me a Chambers Brothers T shirt that I proudly wear often even at Fox HQ after I wrote about these guys here:

    and here:

Well, coming off of last week's crazy market ride, this week should be pretty interesting...Tune into to Happy Hour at 5:00 and 11:00pm on channel 43 to get yourself up to speed with the business events of the day.
