    Time to Buy VMW, Methinks

Momentum cuts both ways, and if you rode VMW up on its explosive move higher since its IPO earlier this year, you know what I'm talking about. The momo traders have been killed in this thing, with it at $73 a share, it's now down 40% from its recent highs less than a month ago.

Were I still running money, I'd be buying a little VMW common here for an investment and I'd also be buying some January or February out-of-the-money VMW calls for a trade here too.

Not for the faint of heart though...it's still very much a momomo name.

Cody NAILED this one. It's already up over 20% in 2 days since Cody recommended it. I jumped in at 77. Keep us updated!

Cody your stock picks always impress me. I've been reading your blog for almost two years. I've read as you reiterated buys on goog, aapl and msft. NWS has been surprisingly stagnant, but with msft's recent investment in facebook, which valued them at something insane like 15 bil- shouldn't that put myspace's valuation through the roof? It seems Rupert really did know what he was doing with that aquisition. I hope the TV station is successful. I was surprised to see your picture in Fortune; you're like a young, up and coming Cramer. --love the Velvet Underground stuff (and Mars Volta) this is totally different-rocking instrumental, but I recommend Ratatat if you haven't heard them. I hope you take the time to make the occasional stock reco on the blog, I feel like I already missed VMW

Cody, Why do you like VMWare? How are you valuing this company? Is its sky-high P/E ratio justified, and what market opportunities do you see for VMW in coming years? I am very intrigued by this company but still have many questions....Thanks
